Motion assignment

Panning

Stop Motion

Blurred motion

Long Exposure

*All photos were shot on an iPhone

Panning: For panning, I bought an app called slow shutter and and changed the shutter speed. I honestly kept on just playing around with the shutter speed first trying at 1/2 and going all the way to 1/8th to capture my photos. Additionally, as my subject moved I moved my camera along with it to create the wanted affect. Lastly, I edited the pictures in order to make the blurred background as visible as possible.

Stop Motion: For stop motion, I played around with portrait mode on the iPhone as well with trying to increase my shutter Speed. I looked around me for inspiration of things that I though would capture nicely.  I tried to create the sense of movement while still keeping my images sharp.

Blurred motion: For blurred motion, I tried to download an app to helps to create a slow shutter speed. However, I found that the best photos I produced where just captured from my iPhone camera. I played around with movement making my subjects move fast while trying to contrast with with something a little slower, This allowed me my photos to have both a blurred and in focus affect.

Long Exposer: For long exposer, I once again used the slow shutter app in which I played around with the shutter speed (ranging from 1/2 to 1/8th.) What I did for this is either drive around in my car while trying to capture my subject in motion or I stood still and let it pass me at a fast pace.
